Perfect weather conditions, I would say, to get us all into the Christmas time festive feeling out there. Many of us are stressed about family visits, presents, how to occupy your kids. Here are some small & big ideas we will be up to this weekend.
We are not experts in skiing but sledging is awesome! Good frost, enough snow and some great locations nearby. Go and visit Glenshee area. A nearby ski resort, good cafes & food along the way (Cateran Cafe in Blairgowrie, Glenshee Pottery further north, on A93 road or directly at the Glenshee Ski Resort).
Let's hope for more snow soon and those who ski and snowboard can enjoy the mountains as well. If you need to rent any kit, superb quality service at The Cabin Ski Hire located in Bridge of Cally.
Recent frost and clear skies are providing us all with fantastic conditions for star gazing. Did you see phenomenal meteor shower last night?
If you wish to know more, understand it better, there is plenty of on-line tools available for free. Here are some we like to use:
So how does Outdoor Explore fits to all of this?
Firstly, on Friday we are going night paddling at Clunie Loch near Blairgowrie. Couple of spaces are still available! Starting at 18.00, enjoying stunning scenery, history and wildlife as well.
Saturday will be our snow kayaking season opening! Would you be mad enough to try it? Where Sunday we will take a scenic tour in Angus Glens!
As always, contact us for any enquiries, firstname.lastname@example.org
Have a great weekend ahead!
Piotr, Outdoor Explore
And just to finish, did you see super funny way of packing a Christmas tree? Presented by our local supplier from East Rattray Farm. This video is awesome :)
