Often asked questions

Clients should provide us prior to the trip with emergency contact details and any medical information which might affect their activity. This can be completed using our booking form and will maintain fully confidential. Your details will not be passed to any third parties.


To secure your place, trip, date a 50% deposit of the total cost must be paid. Final payment must be completed no later than 7 days prior to the event. In certain situations we may offer different arrangements, to suit you, so contact us for details.


If the weather is to bad to run the session or Outdoor Explore cannot fulfil the arrangements due to powers beyond its control full repayment or an alternative date will be offered. Cancelling the trip 14 days or less before scheduled date by you will cause losing your deposit.


Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.


Payment options are displayed on the booking form.

Guided trips, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, hiking and mountain biking last 2-2.5 hours unless requested otherwise. All technical equipment will be provided so all you need to bring to any of them is warm clothing appropriate for the activity you participate, e.g. old trainers, sport clothes, fleeces which you don't mind to get wet and muddy. Don't forget to bring any medications you might need.
